Cosgrove Partners (CP) is a management consulting firm dedicated to helping executive teams and corporations seek truth, accomplish objectives and achieve organizational effectiveness.

Steven P. Cosgrove

Founder and CEO

Mr. Cosgrove has extensive consulting and operating experience, having held senior management positions including President and CEO level positions for both start-up and turn-around ventures.  

Additionally, he has advised and managed consulting projects for more than 100 companies (Home Depot, Stanley, Kodak, TEKsystems, FinishMaster, and many others) on issues including strategic planning, sales execution, organizational effectiveness, channel strategy, sales effectiveness, and leadership development.

His expertise comes from having held leadership positions in several public and private companies; co-founding and operating significant B2B e-commerce firm, leading the turn-around and successful sale of a mid-market distribution firm as well as directing various developments for a Fortune 500 firm. The following summarizes his experience:

  • Cosgrove Partners, CEO: He leads a boutique consulting and investment firm serving the technology, manufacturing and distribution industries with clients including Home Depot, Kodak, TEKsystems, and Finishmaster.
  • Force Management, Founder and Managing Partner: He developed and managed a consulting and training firm focused on sales effectiveness and sales execution with clients in the IT services, Hardware, Software, and Manufacturing industries.
  • supplyFORCE.com, Co-founder, President and COO: He launched a national channel management, contracting, and e-commerce solution for the Global 1000.  
  • Thrall Distribution, President: He led the turn-around and successful sale of this $150M pipe, valve and fitting distributor.
  • WW Grainger, Director Business Development: He led the successful turnaround of several field offices, held senior corporate sales leadership positions, managed the consulting business, and led the business and customer development functions. 
  • Detroit Ball Bearing, Regional General Manager: He held Division level operating responsibility for $350M bearing and power transmission distributor.

Mr. Cosgrove has been a frequent speaker at industry events as well as company forums on topics including the role of organizational effectiveness, management development, leadership, and strategic planning. He is the author of more than thirty articles on business topics and he is a member of the Board of Directors for several private companies and non-profit organizations.

 

Mr. Cosgrove is very active in Christian humanitarian work in Indianapolis, Indiana; Tijuana, Mexico; and Johannesburg, South Africa. His efforts are focused on providing adequate low cost housing and basic education for the hyper poor.

 

Mr. Cosgrove conducted his undergraduate studies at Indiana University.

Greg Dehnke

Senior Consulting Manager

Greg Dehnke is a proven sales executive with over twenty five years of experience delivering exceptionally profitable sales growth across diverse business cultures and industries. He has extensive experience in recruiting, training, and developing high performance teams within multiple industries including semiconductor, distribution, and automotive.

 

Greg’s sales experience includes stints as Global Account Manager for Texas Instruments in the semiconductor industry; National Sales Training Manager and Vice President of National Accounts with the leader in industrial distribution, W.W. Grainger; Vice President of Sales with supplyForce, a startup B2B e-commerce company; and Senior Sales Executive within the automotive aftermarket industry.

 

Greg has strong leadership skills combined with the highest levels of personal and business integrity. He excels in developing high performance teams, employee selection and development, and achieving exemplary results through strategic planning.

 

His specific experiences include:

  • Design and implementation of multi-channel, integrated marketing and sales tactics to optimize customer profitability and revenues.
  • Design and implementation of integrated performance review systems
  • Creation of individual development plans and corresponding training curriculum
  • Design and implementation of compensation programs that drive profitable sales growth for national sales organizations.

 

Greg is a graduate of Purdue University where he earned a BS degree in Industrial Engineering.  Greg and his wife currently reside in Carmel, Indiana.
